BUMATECH Fair left its mark on the industry.
Tüyap brought together 41.112 visitors from 58 countries at the giant intercontinental meeting of the machinery manufacturing sector in Bursa. Organised with the participation of 394 companies and company representatives in 7 halls in Tüyap Bursa International Fair and Congress Centre on an area of 40 thousand square meters, BUMATECH Bursa Machine Technologies Fairs witnessed a sales record this year as the most important meeting of the machinery manufacturing sector. İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager of Tüyap Fairs, emphasised the importance of BUMATECH Bursa Machine Technologies Fairs, where Bursa Metal Processing Technologies Fair, Bursa Sheet Metal Processing Technologies Fair and Bursa Automation Fair meet under one roof and said: "Bursa Machine Technologies Fairs, which have a significant impact on trade volume, hosted 204 brands.  Bursa, which has a very important position in our country's economy, is a bridge to exports. In our Bumatech Fairs, the proportion of domestic manufacturers, which have recently become more and more important for our country, is quite high. Up to 70 per cent of our exhibitors in our fairs make domestic production. At the end of the fair, we brought 41,112 professional visitors together with our exhibitors in Bursa."
Bursa, the locomotive city of the Turkish economy with its strong industrial production, brought together companies and company representatives from all over the world at the giant intercontinental meeting of the machinery manufacturing sector. BUMATECH Bursa Machine Technologies Fairs, organised by Tüyap Bursa Fuarcılık A.Ş. and Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) in cooperation with Machine Tools Industrialists and Business People Association (TIAD) and Machinery Manufacturers Association (MIB), and with the support of the Ministry of Trade, KOSGEB and Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, has been the biggest machinery manufacturing meeting of the year this year as it has been for 21 years. The fair, which was followed with interest by a wide audience from Türkiye and abroad, witnessed an influx of visitors from the Middle East, North Africa and Europe. The fair, which was supported by the Machinery Ur-Ge project managed to increase the demands from domestic and foreign markets in this respect.

Underlining that BUMATECH Fairs are the last and most important meeting of the machinery sector this year as in every year, İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager of Tüyap Fairs drew attention to the added value created by the fairs for the machinery manufacturing sector and the Turkish economy. Ersözlü said, "This year's BUMATECH Fairs have increased the satisfaction of exhibitors and visitors in terms of introducing themselves and obtaining hot sales. At the end of the 4th day, we brought together 41.112 visitors from 58 countries.  Exhibitors achieved a great sales record in 4 days. We also received signals that this sales wind will continue after the fair. We are happy to have a successful fair where we added value to the export balance sheet with this commercial mobility we created in the machinery manufacturing sector."

Stating that the sales wind created by BUMATECH Fairs attracted attention to other fairs to be organised by Tüyap Machinery Fairs Group in 2024, Ersözlü said, "With the increasing satisfaction of our visitors and exhibitors, we have already started to receive demand for the machinery fairs we will organise in 2024. We will open the year with Konya Machine Technologies Fairs to be held in Konya on May 8-11, 2024. Then, we will continue to achieve record sales with Maktek Eurasia to be held in Istanbul on September 30 - October 5, 2024 and BUMATECH - Bursa Machine Technologies Fairs to be held on November 28- December1, 2024in Bursa." He stated.
